Fathers' Club
A Message from the Fathers' Club President
August, 2025
Greetings Gwynedd Fathers and Guardians,
My name is John Pascucci (Charley '25) and I look forward to serving as Father’s Club President for the 2024-2025 school year. I would like to welcome our new parents to Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School and invite you to explore what we do at the Father's Club. You and your daughter(s) join a community that is rich in Mercy Spirit and committed to empowering our girls to achieve all they aspire to be.
The aim of the Fathers' Club is to support the mission of GMAHS and help our daughters grow in the Mercy Spirit. We are focused on how we, as fathers and guardians, can enhance our daughters' experience while spending quality time with them during the school year.
We have a lot of exciting activities planned for the girls and dads to connect in a fun and relaxing atmosphere and meet new friends. This year we will bring back some popular events like the Father-Daughter dance, Top Golf, and last year‘s biggest hit, the Phillies game and tailgate. This year, we will add a Father-Daughter scavenger hunt which will be held in early October. More details and additional events will be addressed at our first meeting in September.
In addition to the activities, there are some service elements to the Father's Club, such as providing volunteers to direct traffic for our open house and graduation; plus, we support the school‘s biggest fundraisers which include the Golf/Tennis Classic on October 7th at North Hills Country Club, and McAuley’s Pub Night on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, right here at Gwynedd. There are plenty of ways to participate and we are always open to exploring new ideas at our scheduled club meetings.
All dads/male guardians are invited to our first meeting on Thursday, September 5 at 6:30 PM in the Gwynedd cafeteria. This meeting is designed to outline the Fathers' Club vision for the upcoming academic year, introduce the executive committee, class representatives, and key stakeholders at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, and a time to socialize. More details will be emailed as we get closer to the school year.
Please feel free to contact me or your Fathers’ Club class representative with any questions or suggestions: johnp16@gmail.com or 215-990-7287.
Best regards,
